Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse meets safety and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in inventory counts and communication with warehouse leadership.
- Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
- Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines while operating equipment.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, efficiency.
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physically able to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
- Work in varying temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
