Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this part-time role, with fewer than 30 hours a week, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective handling of merchandise in our warehouse. From receiving incoming stock to preparing products for delivery, you will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team ensuring our stores are well-supplied and our customers are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Efficiently relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Contribute insights for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Achieve budgeted goals and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds of product.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.
