1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing orders for shipment. Your role will involve collaborating with team members, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
