1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating with team members to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Provide input on process improvements and assist in achieving performance goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure productivity and efficiency.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and operate industrial equipment safely.
• Stand, sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and carry throughout the warehouse.
