2024 Summer Intern - Property & Casualty Claims
State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company is looking for motivated students to join our 2024 Summer Internship Program in Property & Casualty Claims. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry while working alongside our dedicated claims team.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to various aspects of property and casualty claims operations.
- Learn claim handling processes including investigation, evaluation, and negotiation.
- Work closely with claims professionals to understand issues related to medical, property, and liability claims.
- Engage in mentorship programs and interact with senior leadership.
- Participate in community volunteer opportunities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated teamwork, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Internship Information
- Location: Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ
- Hybrid work environment.
- Dates: May 20, 2024 - August 2, 2024
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Interviews for competitive candidates will be conducted in fall 2023.
