2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise in the warehouse, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. You will also collaborate with peers and warehouse management to improve processes and achieve goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, drives for success, organized.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
