Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
  • Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain warehouse safety standards.
  • Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve operational goals.
  • Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.
  • Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
  • Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
  • Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment safely.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Move merchandise, bend, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Work in varying temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
