Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain warehouse safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
- Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve operational goals.
- Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.
- Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise, bend, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
