Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi. As a vital part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and collaborating with peers to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and efficiency of fulfilling orders and maintaining warehouse standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
- Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect and report on product quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
- Execute tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise and prepare deliveries.
- Engage in various physical activities in varying temperatures.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
