Job Description

Bmore Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in a part-time capacity. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our management team by performing various clerical and administrative tasks to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, match purchase orders, and oversee timely payment processing.
  • Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Enter financial transactions into QBO, verify data accuracy, and prepare financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements, monitor transactions, and assist with cash flow management.
  • Review employee expense reports, process reimbursements, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain organized financial records, ensure confidentiality, and support audit processes.
  • Review, approve, and submit sales tax payments; reconcile vendor invoices and agreements.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
