Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Accounting Manager is responsible for general accounting ledger, payroll fixed assets, and preparing account reconciliations. This position oversees the Accounts Payable and Payroll positions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Payroll, and other Business Office functions as needed.
  • Be able to assume daily tasks of the Business Office as needed.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Record daily cash activity.
  • Prepare, balance, and enter payroll entries along with various other journal entries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills required.
  • For prior knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger Accounting through Financial Statements.
  • Five years of direct Accounting experience.
  • Experience with various automated Accounting systems.

Preferred

  • Proven interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous Healthcare experience with Long Term Care exposure.
  • Revenue Cycle exposure preferred.
