Job Description
Discover Financial Services is seeking an Application Engineer specialized in Business Process Management (BPM/BAW) to join our innovative team. As part of our Discover Network Fraud organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and automating various processes to meet business needs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, test, and deploy new features with high quality to production.
- Lead and mentor Associate Application Engineers to foster their growth.
- Guide the team in achieving product commitments and design decisions.
- Proactively solve issues and provide design solutions.
- Contribute to technology communities within Discover.
- Experience in BPM administration, configuration, testing, and support.
- Document detailed design specifications and code changes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- Technical proficiency in BPM (Business Process Management).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Open Shift Container or Kubernetes platforms.
- BPM certification and experience with IBM BAW.
- Hands-on experience in developing cloud-native applications.
- Expertise in DevOps, build tools, Java script technologies, and relational databases.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and BPM certifications.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $86,500.00 to $146,100.00, with additional incentives based on factors like experience and skills.
