Job Description

We are hiring an Assistant Manager for Construction Field Services to support our Toledo-based construction materials engineering and testing services. This role involves assisting the Department Manager in managing and coordinating a team of construction materials technicians, administrators, and engineering support staff. If you have a background in civil engineering, construction management, or related fields with a minimum of 4-7 years of experience, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgeting, quoting, and coordination tasks.
  • Oversee project management activities, including quality control and staff coordination.
  • Recommend staffing adjustments to meet seasonal workloads and assist with staff training.
  • Participate in account management, business development, and client relationship activities.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • 4-7 years of experience in construction materials testing or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
