Job Description
Community Health and Dental Care (CHDC) is a non-profit community health center in Pottstown, PA, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services. We are currently looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Medical Assistant at CHDC, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Participate in morning team huddles and pre-visit planning activities.
- Prepare exam rooms, assist providers during examinations, and perform patient care procedures.
- Administer medications, collect specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate patient flow, respond to emergencies, and support clinical preceptorship.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or formal training.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, EMR experience preferred.
- Certification as CMA/RMA and CPR certification required.
- Previous physician office experience is advantageous.
