Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) to join our team at Oak Forest Health & Rehab Center. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities, providing essential care, and ensuring their well-being throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all activities of daily living (ADLs) as required.
- Support oral hygiene practices, including denture care, in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and as needed.
- Accurately maintain patient care records at the end of your shift, including intake and output recording.
- Collaborate with the charge nurse to address resident needs and administer treatments according to instructions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and the well-being of our residents.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a nursing assistant and inclusion in the DFS registry are mandatory.
- Compassion for caring for elderly patients with a genuine concern for their welfare.
- Ability to follow and execute orders accurately and efficiently.
- Attendance at all in-service training sessions and mandatory staff meetings is required.
