Job Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated Charge Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Denver Health. As the Charge Nurse, you will supervise nursing and support staff in providing exceptional patient care in a highly skilled unit. This role involves overseeing operations, patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration while adhering to professional nursing standards and promoting excellence in patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage department/unit operations for assigned shifts.
• Assess patient needs and monitor patient care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and record patient vital signs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1-3 years of professional nursing experience.
• Active RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of patient-centric care and EHR systems.
