Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated CNC Laser Operator to join our team at Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc. As a key member of our manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating CNC laser equipment to execute cutting, drilling, welding, and ablation processes. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are crucial to ensuring the quality and efficiency of our operations.
Essential Tasks
- General
- Adhere to required policies and procedures, including safety protocols and documentation practices.
- Detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively across shifts and perform additional duties to support our mission.
- Setup and Operation
- Inspect and clean laser optics, follow setup procedures, and load CNC programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and maintain CNC knowledge.
- Perform setup, deburr operations, and use measuring tools for quality verification.
- Inspection
- Verify workpiece conformance, read CMM data, and report any issues to the supervisor.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 2 years of laser experience.
- Basic mechanical and mathematical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and manufacturing experience are desirable.
- US citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory.
