Job Description
Join our team at Corewell Health as a CT Technologist on a full-time midnight shift. You will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic CT exams using state-of-the-art imaging equipment, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while upholding radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician order.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
- Perform CT exams and related procedures with precision and care.
- Operate CT imaging equipment effectively, ensuring quality control.
- Monitor patients during procedures to maintain safety.
- Ensure timely communication of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Utilize hospital computer systems efficiently for order verification and information transfer.
- Engage in effective communication within the department and with medical staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by the ARRT required, additional CT certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
