Job Description
Downtown Dental Associates is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our established team at our brand new office in Jacksonville, FL. As a Dental Hygienist at Heartland Dental, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support while enhancing your clinical skills through unparalleled education and mentorship programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to deliver personalized care.
- Utilize Dentrix Software for efficient patient management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active dental hygienist license in Florida.
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
- Prior clinical experience.
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, and digital medical record systems.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development of clinical skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
- Comfortable with periods of sitting, standing, and occasional lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Available for virtual or in-person training sessions as needed.
