Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Sheriff - Patrol at Clear Creek County, Colorado. In this role, you will perform law enforcement and non-law enforcement duties under limited supervision, enforcing federal, state, and county laws to protect life, health, safety, welfare, and property.
Responsibilities
- Enforce County, State, and Federal laws
- Conduct investigations and make arrests
- Write various reports including crime case reports and missing persons reports
- Appear and testify in court proceedings
- Perform traffic enforcement, routine patrol, and special duties
- Assist the public in non-law enforcement matters
- Conduct search and rescue operations
- Present a positive image to department members and the public
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement experience
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Colorado POST Certified
- Proficient in law enforcement skills and communications
- Valid Colorado driver's license
