Job Description
First Student, the leading school transportation provider in North America, is looking for a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Hillsborough Township and Hunterdon County School Districts. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure their safety and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT maintenance checks.
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle components like brakes, suspensions, and transmissions.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders and assist with emergency services when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- 5+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical education.
- Mechanic's tool set and willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
- Subject to a drug test as part of the hiring process.
