Job Description
Join Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. as a Diesel Mechanic/Technician C responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining freight transportation equipment. You will work on a variety of diesel and propane-powered vehicles, ensuring optimal performance to meet service commitments and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain single and tandem axle diesel tractors, city trucks, and industrial forklifts.
- Track work progress to meet production targets and service schedules.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and system repairs as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum 6 months of related experience/training.
- Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol tests.
- Preferably skilled in Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, and ASE Certification.
Pay Rate
$28.80 - $35.80 per hour
