Dietary Aide

Job Description

The Bungalows at Springfield East is looking to hire Dietary Aides to join their team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, and providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community's dining rooms and designated areas while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adhering to regulatory food service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow local, state, and federal food handling policies.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Prepare special dietary needs as directed.
• Adhere to posted menus and prepare food items using approved recipes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred.
• Understanding of infection control procedures.
• Strong multitasking, stress management, and organizational skills.
• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
