Job Description
Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Lead to join our mission-driven team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
- Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
- Provide support to individuals receiving services including assistance with daily activities, medication administration, and personal care.
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings and providing transportation to work or other activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of experience in human services preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required for transportation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
