Job Description
Are you pursuing your undergraduate or post-graduate degree and looking for real responsibility and the ability to make a true impact? Our District Managers at ALDI supervise the operations of an entire district, overseeing up to six stores, leading employees, and driving sales growth. You'll receive up to 44 weeks of paid training to prepare you for this rewarding position where you'll be responsible for the operations, management, and performance of a multi-million dollar district.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Develop staffing levels with direct reports
- Implement action plans for improved operating results
- Ensure adherence to merchandising plans
- Train, develop, and motivate team for success
- Recruit and recommend qualified employees
- Approve time-off requests for direct reports
- Review and analyze competitive pricing
- Communicate product feedback to leadership
- Coordinate recruitment and interviewing processes
- Conduct store meetings and store management
- Manage achievement of store budgets and loss results
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
