Job Description
We are VA and MD’s #1 Pet Care Professionals seeking responsible and professional Dog Walkers to join our team. Area/Schedule
- Ability to care for dogs and cats.
- Dog walking services occur from 10am to 3pm, Monday - Friday.
- Pet sitting services occur on evenings and weekends.
- Service specific areas consistently - no expectation of servicing all communities.
Compensation
- Starting rate of $19 - $21 per hour.
- $2200 - $2700 per month.
- 30-minute visits start at $14-$15 per visit, increasing to $16 within the first year.
- Time and a half on holidays and short-notice requests.
- Client gratuity with 100% of tips going to staff.
- Bonuses for client/staff referrals and reaching performance goals.
- Work materials provided, and bonuses for obtaining Pet First Aid and Pet CPR certifications.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and positive walking environment for dogs.
- Provide detailed and attentive care for cats and other small animals.
- Perform house-sitting duties as requested by clients.
- Transport client pets.
- Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.
- Remain flexible in response to client demand changes week to week.
