Electrical Engineer III

Job Description

Join Toyo Tires' team as an Electrical Engineer III at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. In this role, you will design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment and machinery, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to achieve goals. You will collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other engineers to ensure efficient production methods and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure equipment and systems meet design specifications.
• Analyze data and propose design modifications to improve machine or system performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Manage projects from concept to implementation, working closely with vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in designing and modifying electrical controls for manufacturing machinery.
• Competence in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers, preferably Mitsubishi PLCs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Skills

• Experience in calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Knowledge of PLC and Servo program troubleshooting and modification.
• Ability to perform design modifications to enhance equipment performance.
• Utilities experience and CAD programming skills are a plus.
