Job Description
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join our team in South Milwaukee, WI. Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines/equipment.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications
- License Credential with the State of Wisconsin as an Electrician or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair of machine tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with AC/DC drives.
- Ability to read and interpret machine electrical schematics.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing welding machinery, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and HVAC equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting machine tool prints/schematics.

- Located in South Milwaukee, WI.
- 2nd and 3rd shift availability.
- Hourly rate: $36.83 - $39.17/hr plus shift differential.
