As an Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC at Caterpillar Inc., you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing complex machine tools and related equipment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex machine tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications:
- License Credential or Journeyman status with electrical/electronics experience.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical repair experience in an industrial setting.
- Experience with relay logic and CNC/PLC machines.
- Proficiency in AC/DC drives and basic mechanical skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret machine electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting welding machinery, VFDs, and PLCs.
- Experienced in HVAC equipment troubleshooting.
