Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join the team at Caterpillar Inc. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment, including CNC/PLC controlled machines.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair machine tools and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC/PLC controlled machines/equipment
- Operate and maintain measurement and feedback systems
Required Qualifications:
- License Credential with the State of Wisconsin as an Electrician or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair of machine tools
- Experience with troubleshooting relay logic and CNC/PLC systems
- Basic mechanical skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and machine prints
- Ability to operate basic tools
- Team player with the willingness to work overtime
- Experienced in maintenance practices and equipment repair
Additional Information:
- Location: South Milwaukee, WI
- Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift, Full Time
- Hourly Rate: $36.83 - $39.17/hr plus shift differential
