Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc. at our manufacturing facility in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair various machine tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Operate measurement and feedback systems.
Requirements
- Valid Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with CNC/PLC machines and AC/DC analog and digital drives.
- Basic mechanical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Proficiency in using tools for repair tasks.
- Skilled in preventative maintenance and machinery repair.
