Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc. at our South Milwaukee facility. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing complex machine tools and related equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair domestic and foreign machine tools and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Operate measurement and feedback systems.
Requirements
- State Electrician License or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with relay logic and CNC/PLC machines.
- Familiarity with AC/DC drives and basic mechanical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Proficiency in machine tool prints/schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in preventative maintenance and welding equipment repair.
