Job Description
We are looking for a talented Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc.'s team in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of our global team, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing machine tools and related equipment, contributing to the creation of sustainable communities through innovation and progress.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines/equipment.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications
- State of Wisconsin Electrician License or equivalent certification/experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair of machine tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting relay logic and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Knowledge of AC/DC analog and digital drives.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret machine electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Proficiency in working with tools and machine prints/schematics.
- Capability to work individually and in a team environment.
- Skills in preventative maintenance and machinery troubleshooting.
Additional Information
- Full-time position with 2nd and 3rd shift options.
- Hourly pay range: $36.83 - $39.17 plus shift differential.
