Join Shamin Hotels Corporate as an Employee Experience Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment for our associates through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create a transparent communication channel for employees to voice their concerns.
  • Assist in addressing performance issues and disciplinary actions at the property level.
  • Lead conflict resolution on various workplace matters such as attendance, safety, theft, and inter-personal conflicts.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations and interviews for discrimination, harassment, and work environment issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance employee experience and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee feedback surveys, analyze results, and propose effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs aligned with our core values.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to the HR leadership team.
  • Maintain a positive conflict resolution approach in line with company values.
  • Work with the People team to ensure a positive employee lifecycle experience.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Effective interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity requirements.
  • Ability to apply relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written Spanish is a plus.
  • Three years of experience in employee relations.
  • Five years of experience in hospitality, hotel, or food service industry.
  • Preferred certification: SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
