Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Epic Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a member of our EHR Services practice, you will play a crucial role in implementing and operating EHR Services projects. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within the U.S. and collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to improving healthcare delivery through innovative technology solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage HIM configuration changes and builds, ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
- Lead Epic software upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements.
- Act as a mentor to team members and facilitate communication between departments.
- Provide on-site support during system upgrades and go-lives.
- Develop training materials and maintain application-specific curriculum.
- Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Epic certification in at least two areas related to HIM.
- 5+ years of direct client experience in healthcare.
- 4+ years of Epic healthcare experience and SME in relevant applications.
- Knowledge of revenue cycle metrics and process improvement techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed Epic CEE for maintaining certifications.
- Experience in team management and cross-team communication.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
