Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Principal Trainer to join our EHR Services team at Optum, a global organization dedicated to improving healthcare delivery through technology. As a key member of the team, you will work on Professional Billing configuration changes, translate user requirements, lead software upgrade initiatives, and provide application support. Primary Responsibilities
- Work on Professional Billing configuration changes and builds, ensuring build quality and timeline adherence.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
- Mentor team members and lead software upgrade initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between Operations, IT, and Third-Party Systems.
- Provide application support including on-call coverage and on-site support during go-lives.
- Develop training curriculum and maintain system configuration standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Epic certification in Professional Billing and/or Epic Professional Billing Claims.
- 4+ years of healthcare and client domain knowledge.
- Experience with at least one full cycle Epic Implementation on the Professional Billing Application Team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed Epic CEE for certifications and proficiencies.
- 4+ years of team management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
