Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Principal Trainer to join our fast-growing EHR Services practice at Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the successful implementation and operation of Epic solutions for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and make a meaningful impact on healthcare technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Professional Billing configuration changes and builds with quality and timeline adherence.
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert to team members.
- Manage Epic software upgrades and enhancements, including design and testing phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party systems.
- Provide on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
- Develop and maintain training materials for end users.
- Adhere to system configuration and change control standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Epic certification in Professional Billing and/or related area.
- 4+ years of healthcare and client domain knowledge.
- Experience in Epic implementations on the Professional Billing team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in team management and leadership roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
