Job Type: Part-Time; 25 hours a week for 52 weeks (eligible for more hours, as available). Available shifts: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Position Purpose

This position floats to classrooms to cover breaks and absences. The Float works cooperatively with staff, families, and volunteers to carry out the responsibilities and duties of the Head Start program to meet the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical needs of Head Start children and families.

Pay Range: The hourly wage range is $15.16 to $16.25.

Requirements

The minimum requirement for the position is a high school diploma or GED certificate, and holding a current Child Development Associates (CDA) is preferred, or willing to obtain a CDA within your first year of employment. TCHS will assist you in getting the training and experience needed to meet the CDA requirement.
