The Bakery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Bakery Department under the direction of Store Management and Administrative Management. This role ensures top quality products and exceptional customer service for Kennie's Market's customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and gross profit goals for the department
- Maintain control of expenses, inventory, waste, and pricing
- Ensure quality, freshness, and proper display of bakery products
- Collaborate with Store Manager and Bakery Specialist on merchandising and sales strategies
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Supervise Bakery Department employees and oversee department operations
