Job Description
Discover Financial Services is looking for a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to join a collaborative team focused on innovation and digital solutions. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting core infrastructure and security services in the public cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include engineering complex AWS and GCP solutions, implementing configuration management tools, and supporting the adoption of new technologies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Engineer complex public cloud solutions using AWS and GCP.
- Implement configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Lead technology communities and contribute to product commitments.
- Utilize automation, system tools, and 'security-first' principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support research activities.
- Provide technical expertise in cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in (Software) Engineering or DevOps.
- Technical proficiency in cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GCP and AWS in a production environment.
- Demonstrated growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in agile-based teams with diverse skill sets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Compensation
Competitive base pay ranging from $86,500.00 to $146,100.00 with additional incentives. Benefits such as Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) Plan, and Medical Insurance are also included.
