Job Description
Team One Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in improving our operations by applying a systematic approach to risk management, control, and governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Performing full audit cycles and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Determining audit scope and developing annual plans.
- Analyzing accounting documentation to detect inaccuracies and compliance concerns.
- Presenting audit findings and recommending solutions to management.
- Identifying risks, recommending preventative measures, and cost-saving strategies.
- Communicating audit results and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Assisting in policy implementation and conducting branch audits.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of auditing experience, preferably in financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
