Team One Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in improving our operations by applying a systematic approach to risk management, control, and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Performing full audit cycles and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Determining audit scope and developing annual plans.
• Analyzing accounting documentation to detect inaccuracies and compliance concerns.
• Presenting audit findings and recommending solutions to management.
• Identifying risks, recommending preventative measures, and cost-saving strategies.
• Communicating audit results and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Assisting in policy implementation and conducting branch audits.

Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of auditing experience, preferably in financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
