Job Description
Horizon Construction Group is seeking a Lead Field Superintendent to oversee a large multifamily project in Bettendorf, Iowa. This key role involves coordinating all project field operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring project completion within scheduled time frames, and maintaining quality standards throughout the construction process. As the Lead Field Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the project team, monitoring safety protocols, resolving issues, and effectively communicating with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all project field operations, including subcontractors and materials.
- Ensure completion of the project punch list and maintain quality finish standards.
- Monitor project schedule and communicate daily progress with the office.
- Lead and supervise on-site construction staff and subcontractors.
- Identify and address safety concerns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, preferably in large-scale multifamily projects.
- OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes including earthwork, framing, and finishes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- High level of problem-solving ability and organizational skills.
Compensation
- Salary: $95,000-$130,000 per year.
