Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Human Resources Technology Analyst with expertise in Workday to join Discover Financial Services, a global digital banking and payments leader. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and enhancing the Workday Human Capital Management System to support various HR functions and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR technology, project management, and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead Workday configuration and solutioning in partnership with product owners.
- Collaborate with the People Analytics team for Workday reporting and dashboard enhancements.
- Work with IT teams on integrations and building Workday Extend apps.
- Mentor HR Technology Analysts and provide expertise in Workday.
- Manage HR systems issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Human Resources.
- 6+ years experience with Human Capital Management Systems.
- Experience with Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, etc.
- Advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday partner or Pro Certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile scrum methodology and Workday implementation.
- Knowledge of EIBs and Calculated fields.
- Proficiency in Service Now and Jira applications.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 with additional incentives. Various factors may impact the final compensation package.
