Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of Business Technology (BT) issues, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting actions taken to resolve problems. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate risks as needed. Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordinate actions to resolve assigned BT issues.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and blockers are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain problem inventory in ServiceNow and propose process improvements.
  • Mentor Service Support Specialists assigned to LOB.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is a plus.
  • 1+ years of people management or related experience preferred.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 plus incentives. Factors like experience and education may impact the pay.
