Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services, a global leader in digital banking and payments. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems by identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting resolution actions in collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities

  • Manage the resolution of assigned Problems by performing root cause analysis and coordinating actions for issue resolution.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and maintain problem inventory in ServiceNow.
  • Identify process improvements and mentor Service Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in relevant fields or 4+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, 1+ years of risk management, and people management experience.
