Job Description
The Keene Family YMCA is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing quality childcare, implementing program curriculum, and fostering an environment that aligns with our core values. Responsibilities
- Implement curriculum following guidelines.
- Design and execute daily lesson/activity plans.
- Supervise children and classroom activities.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of each child.
- Maintain positive parent relationships and effective communication.
- Ensure program site and equipment upkeep.
- Attend and participate in various program activities and training.
Requirements
- Meet educational and experience qualifications per NH state law (18 ECE Credits).
- CPR/First Aid/AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
