Job Description

NorthPoint Development LLC is seeking a Leasing Professional to join our team. As a Leasing Professional, you will be responsible for opening and closing the community, touring and leasing apartments, planning community events, conducting market surveys, assisting with resident conflicts, managing social media accounts, and various other leasing and marketing activities. You will embed yourself in the community for networking opportunities and vendor partnerships and contribute time to various charitable activities as part of Live Generously program. Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the community according to the provided checklist
  • Walking the tour path and models daily
  • Answering leasing leads, follow up, and responding to resident contacts
  • Touring and leasing apartments to prospective residents
  • Maintaining an outstanding resident rapport through planning community events, preparing/distributing the newsletter and creating a sense of community
  • Conducting a thorough and accurate market survey
  • Assisting residents with submitting service requests and handling resident conflict or issues
  • Assisting with weekly leasing reports and providing market survey information to the competitors
  • Assisting in the renewal process to retain existing residents
  • Performing outreach marketing calls and visits
  • Managing social media accounts and post according to the brand guidelines
  • Walking vacant units, grounds, amenities, and buildings as required
  • Completing leasing paperwork required for move-ins and sending applicable professional communication and letters as needed
  • Participating in local chamber, apartment association, or other activities representing NorthPoint
  • Embedding yourself into the community for networking opportunities and vendor partnerships
  • Contributing time to various charitable activities in order to Live Generously

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/ or training
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Willing to work weekends and a varied schedule
  • Sales and or customer service experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Windows operating system, and Google applications
  • The aptitude to read a resident ledger and understand payments and credits
  • Entrata/Yardi experience is a plus along with familiarity of Blue Moon lease
  • Ability to work in a team environment and help teammates as necessary
  • Proficient communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills are required
  • Excellent attitude, teamwork skills, and self-motivated
