Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. This part-time evening position (3pm - 11pm) offers a rewarding opportunity to provide quality nursing care in a caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for a unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and monitor general physical and mental conditions.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required annually.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
