Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated tasks using evidence-based practice to collect data on patients' physical condition and nursing needs.
• Assist in meeting patient care needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in providing care within the assigned specialty.
• Identify ways to improve patient care processes, lower costs, and enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain positive relationships with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes and care quality.
• Proactively manage risks and effectively handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin LPN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens while performing job duties.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments.
• Standing and/or walking for extended periods.
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
