Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality care within the scope of practice. Responsibilities include monitoring patients as directed, providing nursing care, assisting in teaching plans, wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Active CPR certification.
- Compliance with state laws and regulations.
Essential Functions
- Meet individual patient health needs systematically.
- Implement nursing care within scope of practice.
- Assist in patient teaching plans.
- Administer medications and provide wound care.
- Monitor vital signs and document actions.
