Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bermuda Commons, part of Liberty Healthcare Management. This part-time position entails evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing staff.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of changes.
- Implement physician's orders and respond to emergencies.
- Perform assigned duties efficiently and compassionately.
Requirements
- High school graduate and a Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses, maintain quality nursing care, and CPR certification.
- Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
